Don Jose
Overview
Launched in 1979, the 80' Don Jose, is outfitted with 7 staterooms, all above deck with air conditioning and large bunks. Some are equipped with wash basins and a curtained changing area, hanging lockers with drawers for storage and privacy curtains. Three heads with showers adjoin the staterooms. The dining area is separate from the kitchen.
The Don Jose is a boat with its own charm. Many great divers, scientists, photographers and cinematographers have used the Don Jose as a launching point for their explorations. The Don Jose has had the same Captain since it was built and the majority of the crew has been with the ship for more than 15 years. The Don Jose has a relaxed and casual atmosphere, and clients return year after year (some of them for more than 20 years) because of the charm and the great crew aboard.
This ship is ideally suited for travel throughout the waters surrounding the Baja Peninsula. It's open public spaces, and cabins, lend themselves to exploration. The focus on this ship is on the natural world around you, and with the experience of the Captain and crew aboard, wildlife and scenic oportunities abound. This ship is also ideal for families and groups, so ask about full charters.
