Philosophy

We are passionate about travel. We’ve had some of our most memorable experiences far from home, and we want others to find and savour their own experiences. We feel that it is important to learn, appreciate and understand the places we visit and people we meet so that we might give something back. We are concerned about the environment and dedicated to ensuring that our presence has a positive impact on the people, wildlife, and natural surrounding of each place we visit. Some call this Responsible Tourism, and we are all for that, but for us, this is not a list of things to do, rather it is from our hearts.

We feel that one of the best ways to travel is with a guide in a small group. The small group size increases flexibility and mobility, while adding diversity to the mix and maintaining the intimate experience. Our work as Natural History Guides, means we are somewhat biased, but we feel strongly that a great guide can add tremendously to the clients experience. They provide a safe environment where you can explore, learn and enjoy without having to worry about the details of each day. We are firm believers in the many benefits of small group travel and we work only with companies that have a similar appreciation.

At Rosmaru Expeditions, we focus on the complete travel experience. We will work with you to find the best trip, help you prepare for your expedition, think of you while you are gone, and then call to hear the stories and hopefully share some pictures.
